As soon as you log on to Spink Live you will be capable of receiving live video and audio feedback from the Spink auction room. This option can be activated by clicking the “Video Camera” icon on the Spink Live window. You will see separate windows on your computer screen for live video and audio transmission.
You will be able to see the first lot of the sale and may start bidding as soon as the auctioneer opens the auction. Spink Live software will automatically present you with the next high increment for bidding on a green button in front of the screen. You need to click the green button to send your bid to the auctioneer. Please make sure you act fast as we have a high number of clients bidding online and in the auction room. You must submit your bids swiftly in order to procure your chosen lot. Your bid will not be accepted if system detects a higher bid from other internet bidders. If your bid is accepted you will receive the message-“You Are In”-on the top right corner of bidding window.
If you are the highest bidder you will see a message “Net Bidder 4XXX won the lot” on the activity window (You can find your bidder/virtual paddle four digit number in the centre of the bidding window starting with number “4”).
You will also receive an automatic email with information about your winning bid and the amount if you are a successful bidder. Alternatively you can see your winning bids by clicking the Dollar Sign button on top of the bidding window. Please be informed that the notification email is not an invoice, as a separate invoice will be sent to you by the auction team after completing the auction.
